Job Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Oversee 2-18 job training participants.
  2. Oversee Donation Receiving Process.
  3. Facilitate regular assessments with job training participants.
  4. Foster constructive team dynamic focused on impeccable customer service.
  5. Participate as part of CCSFB’s leadership team.
  6. Plan work schedules and delegate duties.
  7. Assist in development of sustainable inventory system.
  8. Prepare performance appraisals.
  9. Recruit and retain volunteers.
  10. Review work; Prepare and maintain important records.
  11. Interview, select and train warehouse volunteers.
  12. Assist with preparation of correspondence, reports, and further development of operations.
  13. Inspect physical conditions of warehouse, vehicle fleet and other equipment.
  14. Assist with facilitation of weekly staff meetings.
  15. Load and unload trucks; drive trucks and vans.
  16. Participate in CCS Volunteer Coordinator meetings.
  17. Perform the same work duties as those supervised, or perform more complex or skilled tasks, or assist in their performance.
  18. Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
  19. Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to solve work-related problems.
  20. Assess warehouse inventory and collaborate with supervisors to further implement and hone a sustainable on-site and and on-line inventory system.
  21. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of ZAGiving operations, as well as other university and business donation drives.
  22. Model professional behaviors, delegate tasks appropriately and provide timely constructive feedback to Next Step Job Training participants; evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.
  23. Recruit and retain consistent flow of volunteers by way of community involvement, volunteer coordination software and collaboration with Catholic Charities of Spokane Volunteer Coordinator.
  24. Review work throughout the process and at completion to ensure that it has been completed correctly.
